Graduating from University of WA in 1985 I completed intern and resident years at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital before specialising in general practice. I have always worked in the northern suburbs, working here at Trigg Health Care Centre since 2002. Through my career, special interests have compelled me to complete various postgraduate courses in women’s health, mental health, psychological health and wholistic health and I maintain my knowledge through a commitment to my ongoing education. I enjoy all areas of general practice, including male and children’s health but have a passion for women’s ‘stages of life’ and the impact hormones have on mental wellbeing especially transitioning the menopause.
I have 2 young adult children pursuing their passion in classical music over east and overseas but still have 2 furry members of the family at home for company! Georgie is a white fluff ball bichon frise who acts like a permanent toddler despite his 12 years. Eddy the cat, is a little older, and lets him know who’s boss!
I love taking on new patients and being of service in all areas of medicine, particularly in my special interest areas.
